I think as long as you are not beating, hitting in the face or slamming them against a wall than spanking is o.k. I see children on a daily basis that need a good spanking. Kids are so out of control these days. I think it is because most parents are afraid to spank because third parties may not believe in it and turn them in.So know kids are labeled with ADD or ADHD which in my view is another way of saying "your kids out of control." If it is what you believe in(because it is your option) and you aren't physically hurting them ,the do it. If I saw a kid throwing a temper trantrum(which we all have) in a resturaunt or grocery store and the parent hauled off and spanked them I would praise them! I don't like to spank but when I get to that point I spank on the butt and don't hurt them. I think it hurts their pride more than anything.. |

There is a line between abuse and spanking. Yes if I saw abuse taking place I would notify the athorities but if someone was spanking a roudy, out of hand child then I think I'd praise them.My sister doesn't believe in spanking and her son is so out of hand and he is only 3. He runs that house hold. He hits and scratches her and her husband and they do nothing. He tells them to shut up and go away. I have 4 children and not one would ever say anything like that to me or my husband or hit us. I believe in spanking but one slap on the butt or hand is enough. |
