Are you kidding me. It would cost the state more to administer drug test than it does in welfare checks. You would have to drug test every person in the household. And then do you make them have to take the drug test everytime they got a check because if I was someone that was about to get free money from the state for a long time and all I had to do was be dug free for a couple of days hell ya I would be drug free for those couple of days. What the state needs to do is set a time limit on how long you get the checks. If we only gave out checks for a 6 month period of time then that would force more people to get out there and get a job.
