Heaven forbid our children pray in school and mention god in the pledge. What did all those men and women fight for if we are just going to let immigrants move in and take over. I think our ancestors and founders of this nation would be very dissapointed in the US today. I am. Here is a poem Now I sit me down in school, where praying is against the rule, for this great nation under god, finds mention of him very odd. If scripture now the class recites, it violates the bill of rights, and anytime my head I bow, becomes a federal matter now.Our hair can be purple orange or green, thats no offense "its a freedom scene",the law is specific the law is precise. prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice. For praying in a public hall, might offend someone with no faith at all. In silence alone we must meditate,God's name is prohibited by the state. We're allowed to cuss and dress as freaks, and pierce our noses tongues and cheeks. They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the bible. To quote the good book makes me liable. We can elect a pregnant senior 'queen', and an unwed daddy our senior 'king'.It's inapropriate to teach right from wrong,we're taught that such judgements do NOT belong. We can get our condoms and birth controls, study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles. But the ten commandments are not allowed, No word of god must reach this crowd. It's scary here I must confess,When chaos reigns the school's a mess.So lord this silent plea I make:Should I be shot ;my soul please take!AMEN... Jesus said "if you are ashamed of me,"I will be ashamed of you before my father."If you move here adjust to OUR way of life or leave. Why should we change what this country was founded on for anyone!! |

Prayer has always been a part of our schools and is appropriate. It is what our country was founded on. This is the United States, "In god we trust" is our national motto not some Christian political slogan. We adopted this motto and prayed in schools because Christian men and women, of Christian principles founded this nation. If god offends you, you should consider another part of the world as your new home. Americans are happy with our culture and have no desire to change, and we don't care how you did things where you came from. Everyone can take advantage of our 1st amendment and express your opinion. But when everyone is done complaining. whining, and griping about our motto, our pledge and our way of life in the U.S.A they should take advantage of the greatest American freedom of all, THE RIGHT TO LEAVE... As an American I AM offended that this would even become an issue. |
