Posting Issues/Comments -
How do I post a comment for a specific issue?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
Make sure you are viewing the details of the specific issue. Under the description you will see a link for View sides which agree or disagree. Under each section is the link labeled Click to view comments. Above the list of comments is a link labeled Submit comments that agree or disagree. Click here and you can submit your comment for review.

How do I post an Issue in my city?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
On the manage profile navigation menu click on "My City".
Right above the listed issues for your city you will see a button labeled "Submit Issue". Click on this button and you will be able to submit your issue.

How do I post an Issue in my nation?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
On the manage profile navigation menu click on "My Nation".
Right above the listed issues for your nation you will see a button labeled "Submit Issue". Click on this button and you will be able to submit your issue.

I posted my Issue/Comment and it doen't show up?
All issues and comments submitted have an approval process before being displayed on the site. Whoever the Political Majority Leader is for your city, state, or nation will approve your submission. We have an approval process to keep our site clean.

My issue / comment was not approved, I think it should have been.
If you submitted your issue or comment and it was declined, you will recieve an email that instructs you to submit the issue or comment to a Political Majority Leader a level above the one who declined your submission. You can do this through email by forwarding your request.

Profile Design -
How do I change my default picture?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
Click on "Pictures" in the Manage Profile navigation menu from any Political Majority web page.
Click the "Make Default" link above the picture you want to show up as your default photo.

How do I set my profile to private?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
Click on "Privacy" in the Manage Profile navigation menu from any Political Majority web page.
From here you will see many sections that you can toggle Off or On. If you want to just change a single section to private, toggle the Off button under the Private column to On by clicking the link. To toggle all sections to private click the column heading Private and it will make all sections private. To make private except for your friends toggle the column labeled Show Friends. And to make public all sections toggle the column labeled show all.

I'm trying to upload an image, and I am getting an error message... what is wrong?
Solution:
Make sure the image you are attempting to upload is in one of the formats Political Majority accepts (.gif, .jpg).
Make sure the filename is simple and short, with no spaces or funny characters. "Image.jpg" is a good filename "Me at the beach! drinking some Bud Light~~.jpg" is probably not going to work.
Make sure the file is less than 10 MB. We do not allow uploads greater than 10MB in size.
If all else fails, try opening the picture in an image viewer to make sure the picture isn't corupt.

Reporting Abuse -
How do I block a user?
Solution:
Go to the profile of the user you would like to block.
Click 'Block User' in the profile's contact box (found underneath in the same box as "Send Message").
Blocked users can still view your profile, but they cannot send you a message or communicate with you. If you do not want them to see your profile, you can adjust your privacy settings.

Someone is pretending to be me - what do I do?
Solution:
In order to verify your identity, please send us a "salute":
This means we will need an image of yourself holding a handwritten sign with the word "PoliticalMajority.com" and your User ID number (your User ID number appears immediately after "u=" in the web address/URL when viewing your profile). We can then remove the profile that uses your identity without your permission.
Please be sure to include the web address/URL to the profile in question when you send your salute.
If the profile is an extremely obvious attempt to be cruel/false, you may not need to send a salute. Sending a salute will help expedite things, though!

How do I vote on an issue?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
View the details of the issue.
At the bottom next to the graph that shows the results you can vote to agree or disagree on the specific issue.

Your Account -
How do I change my personal information?
Solution:
Start by making sure you are logged in.
Click on "Information" under the Manage profile navigation menu located on any Political Majority web pages.
From here you can change any personal information by clicking on the link to what you want to change.

How do I delete my account?
Solution:
Click on the contact page and email us your username, and email and we will be happy to remove your profile for you.
Once your profile is removed everything will be erased.

I forgot my password.
Solution:
To reset your password, click on the forgot password link next to the logon fields.
You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We'll then email your reset password to that address.

Solution:
Click on the forgot password link next to the login fields.
Enter your email address and your password will be reset and emailed to you along with your username.
